EDUCATION PROGRAMS 

The West Shore Symphony provides educational programs for preschoolers to adults, including introductory classical music opportunities, enhancement activities, events for concert goers and integrated and complementary music education programs for emerging professional musicians. Instrument Petting Zoos

Education staff and volunteers take the WSSO Instrument Petting Zoo to schools and community organizations to provide hands on experience in creating musical sounds and provide introduction to the instrument families of the Orchestra.


Master Classes

Guest artists and composers of the WSSO partner with area music educators to provide classroom opportunities for continued learning for area student musicians.

Ensembles in Schools

Small ensembles of West Shore Symphony musicians are available to perform in schools, demonstrate various instruments, and provide classical music education to students.
