BEIJING, January 15, 2026 – The 2026 Green Manufacturing Development Forum and Zero-Carbon Technology Application Case Sharing Session was successfully held in Beijing, with a clear focus on advancing industrial green and low-carbon transformation and promoting the in-depth integration of technology, industry, and capital. The forum served as a key platform for industry stakeholders to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore collaborative pathways towards sustainable development.
As a key international standardization organization dedicated to promoting global sustainability, the World Sustainability Standard Organization (WSSO) was invited to participate in the forum as a core guest. During the event, WSSO officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Beijing Association of IOT and Intelligence Technology Application (BALOT), marking the official launch of in-depth collaborative efforts in the fields of green manufacturing and zero-carbon technology application.
This strategic cooperation is a crucial step in aligning international standards with industrial practice, as both parties will leverage their respective core strengths to drive green development. Under the terms of the agreement:
• WSSO will bring its professional expertise in international standard development, sustainability governance, and global standard coordination, providing scientific and standardized guidance for green manufacturing practices.
• BALOT will utilize its rich industry resources, extensive network, and profound influence in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT) and intelligent technology applications, facilitating the integration of cutting-edge technologies into green manufacturing processes.
The cooperation will focus on three core areas: the construction of green manufacturing systems, the promotion and application of zero-carbon technologies, and the acceleration of industrial low-carbon transformation. The ultimate goal is to build a mutually beneficial collaborative ecosystem that connects standards, technology, and industry, providing strong support for the high-quality green development of the manufacturing sector.
